Making predictions

Each weekend 10 games will be selected from a variety of world leagues. You can predict one of three outcomes, a win for either team or a draw.

You can predict fixtures up to two weeks in advance using the navigation on the Predictions page.

Deadline for every match day is 00:00 GMT in the morning of every matchday.

Predictions deadline

Predictions can be changed at any time up to the weekly deadline: 00:00 GMT on Saturday.

Scoring

Points are only awarded for correct predictions and will vary from 0 to 100 depending on the number of players who also made the correct prediction. The formula used to calculate points is:

100 - percentage of players making prediction

For example, if 10 per cent of players correctly predict the result then 90 points will be awarded.

A guide to the number of points which can be earned for each prediction is displayed under each potential outcome. These numbers are updated hourly and are liable to change until the round deadline.

Points and rankings are updated after each game has finished.

If a match is brought forward (taking place before 00:00 GMT on Saturday morning), abandoned or postponed it shall be declared null and void and no points shall be awarded. Any joker played on this match shall be lost.

Jokers

For each week's games you can assign one game to be your joker. In this fixture you will also be asked to predict the result.

If you correctly predict the result of your joker fixture then you will be awarded 100 extra points.

Leagues

Each player will compete in a number of leagues. These leagues are:

• The global league involving all registered players
• A league for fellow managers from your country
• A league for managers starting the same round as you
• Private leagues with your friends and colleagues
• A head to head league for players joining before round 2.

Each player can be in up to 10 private leagues.

Players joining before round 2 will be placed in a head to head league.

Each round you will play a match against another team in the league, with a match result based on scores. Three points will be awarded for a win and one point for a draw.

Over the course of the season you will play each of the other 17 teams home and away, a total of 34 games.

Players entering after round 2 will be entered in a standard league with 17 other game players.
